Matt holds the position of Program Manager at Compass Mark’s Lancaster site. He works to build and maintain professional relationships throughout Lancaster County school districts to provide evidence-based prevention programming to students K-12, while also supporting Prevention Specialists who implement the programs. Matt currently sits on the Commonwealth Prevention Alliance board of directors and is active in CPA’s advocacy efforts, particularly in the scope of marijuana legalization in Pennsylvania. Along with his professional experience, Matt attributes the education he received at Alvernia University where he studied Behavioral Health-Addiction Studies as a catalyst for strengthening Compass Mark’s diversionary Skills for Life program for youth and adults. What he enjoys the most about his role are the daily opportunities to build impactful relationships with individuals of all ages, school personnel and various community members. “Guiding individuals to realize their potential and achieve their own individual meaning for success is my motivation within every interaction I have.”
