CPA’s Board of Directors plays a vital role in our success, providing guidance, support, and oversight to ensure that we are fulfilling our mission and advocating for high-quality prevention activities across the state.
Our Board is comprised of a diverse group of individuals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. They come from a range of backgrounds, including primary prevention, recovery, education, government, and more, and share a commitment to CPA’s mission and values.
The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing our organization’s operations, ensuring that we are working within our budget, and making strategic decisions about the future direction of CPA. They also play a critical role in fundraising and development efforts, helping us secure the resources we need to continue our work.
In addition to their strategic and operational responsibilities, our Board of Directors is committed to ensuring that we are upholding the highest ethical standards, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations, and abiding by our stated values. They are, of course, also responsible for ensuring that we are fulfilling our obligations as a nonprofit organization, including filing our tax returns and complying with all reporting requirements.
Importantly, our current Board has also been providing significant leadership when it comes to prioritizing CPA’s leading-edge DEIB activities, centering our commitments through a new set of progressive organizational values.
Our Board of Directors is an essential part of our organization’s success, and we are proud to have such a dedicated and committed group of individuals leading CPA. On this page, we would like to introduce you to each of our current Board members, highlighting their unique skills and contributions to CPA’s work.
