Lauren’s prevention work began when she joined her local CTC coalition as a youth member in 2007. She
continued to be a youth voice in community prevention efforts and advocacy on local, state, and national
platforms. She was awarded the Outstanding Youth Leader Award in 2015 and was a keynote speaker at
the annual Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards Dinner. She has partnered with NIDA’s Teen Resource
group and has served as a Collegiate Board Member for the state-wide prevention coalition during her
time at the university. Lauren continued providing prevention education programs in community
and school settings until joining the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Agency as a Prevention Coordinator. In her
current position, she works to provide resources and community education regarding alcohol and
other drug use disorders. Lauren is eager to serve the community in her new role.
